TalentManagementTech and HRmarketer.com to Launch #HRTechChat on December 2
Edison, NJ (PRWEB) November 29, 2011
HRO Today’s sister publication, TalentManagementTech (TMT), in collaboration with B2B marketing software and services firm HRmarketer.com, announced today that they will jointly launch #HRTechChat, a bimonthly Twitter chat focused on human resource technology and its impact on business today.
The first #HRTechChat will take place on Friday, December 2, at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT, and will tackle the question, “What are the biggest advantages for HR with HR technology today?” HR practitioners, vendors of HR technologies and services, analysts, journalists and industry observers alike are welcome to participate in the chat and follow the Twitter hashtag #HRTechChat each week.
Chat topics will be drawn from SocialEars, HRmarketer.com’s groundbreaking algorithm that captures and analyzes the tweets, blogs and online articles by thousands of HR journalists, analysts and thought leaders. In its first few editions, #HRTechChat will focus on timely trends identified by SocialEars during the month of November, including:
Screening and assessing applicants
HR outsourcing
Mobile recruiting
“Twitter chats provide an online forum that all professionals can easily participate in from their Twitter client of choice, and all in 140 characters or less,” said Kevin W. Grossman, co-host of #HRTechChat and chief marketplace evangelist at HRmarketer.com. “We decided to launch #HRTechChat because out of the dozens in the great HR B2B space, there wasn’t one dedicated to HR technology and business today. More and more HR practitioners, business executives and HR vendors alike are connecting in social networks like Twitter.”
#HRTechChat will initially take place bimonthly, eventually becoming a weekly event to complement the content and objectives of its Twitter chat inspiration, “#TChat – The World of Work,” which Grossman co-founded and co-hosts with Meghan M. Biro, also a co-creator of the TalentCulture Community.
Co-hosting #HRTechChat with Grossman will be Brent Skinner, regular contributor to HRO Today and former contributing editor to Executive Recruiter News.
“The intersection of the HR profession with the technology space is self-evident,” said Skinner. “They rely on each other and face an array of mutual challenges, which we’ll discuss during every #HRTechChat. Our objective is to help spur and accelerate useful innovation in HR technology, and #HRTechChat is the perfect vehicle for ongoing dialogue among the many stakeholders in this market space.”
#HRTechChat’s premiere coincides with the beta launch of SocialEars®, HRmarketer.com’s groundbreaking social media algorithm that shows which topics are trending and follows the thought leaders who are driving the conversations.
Additionally, the debut of #HRTechChat marks a milestone in the evolution of TMT, acquired by HRO Today publisher SharedXpertise Media LLC earlier this year, as the go-to online destination for news, commentary and other information pertaining to the marketplace for HR technology.

Hi, Are you looking to promote an online business or just meet new people? If it’s for business this article may help you.
Using Social Networking Websites to Promote Your Online Website
Do you own or operate your own website? With the rising popularity of the internet, there is a good chance that you do. A large number of internet users run their own personal websites, but others run their websites as a way to make money. Of course, any website owner wishes to promote their online website, but those who rely on their websites for income are more willing to. Whichever type of website you have, you could help to promote it with online social networking websites.
If you are wondering how and why you should use social networking websites to promote your online website, you are not alone Online social networking websites are like online communities. They give internet users an easy and fairly safe way to come together. Many social networking websites are designed to make it easier for you to search for and make contact with other internet users, especially those that you have something in common with.
With a fairly large number of social networking websites, including MySpace, having over a millions users, there is a good chance that you could not only make new friends, but find internet users that would be interested in visiting your online website, especially if that website is your personal website. When joining an online networking community, you should be given your own profile page. On this page you could describe yourself & your online website. By mentioning what your personal online webpage is about and providing a link, you should receive a number of new visitors.
As previously mentioned, social networking websites can benefit all website owners, but especially those who are looking to make a profit with their websites. This can be done one of two ways, by selling something or by relying on revenue from advertising. If you have a website that sells products or services, you may find it a little bit easier to use social networking sites to your advantage. This is because, if you wish, you could do product or service spotlights. Each day, week, or month, you could showcase one of the products or services that your website sells. This could either be done right on your profile page or on a blog page, which is provided by most social networking websites.
If you are using your online website to make money with advertising programs, such as affiliate programs or Google Adsense, you may need to approach social networking websites in a different matter. Since you will not necessarily have a particular product or service to focus on, you will need to approach these websites as if they were personal websites. If your website discusses being a dog owner, it may be a good idea to state your love for dogs in your profile. After doing so, it would be acceptable and not necessarily considered spam to add a link to your online website. As with all other types of online websites, social networking websites should help to increase the number of page views your website receives. In most cases, more page views mean more clicks which means money for you.
There are a number of different ways that you can promote your online website, no matter what type of website you have or what you use it for. By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you should be able to see an increase in your page views in no time at all.

Global 3G/3.5G Subscribers Are Projected to Reach 4.27 Billion by 2017, According to New Report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc.
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) November 18, 2011
Follow us on LinkedIn – As consumers purchase more mobile devices and explore applications such as social networking, mobile enterprise, and entertainment, the need for additional network capacity and speed will grow exponentially. Also, increasing volumes of high-definition content, VOD and other personalized video services, and increasing volumes of data that are being transmitted through communications networks would necessitate greater bandwidth requirements. Continued transition from fixed to mobile services with users dumping their landline service to rely solely on mobile phones also puts additional strain on communications networks. These new developments in the communications industry provide a strong business case for high-speed networks such as 3G.
Europe, Asia Pacific and the US are progressing towards integrated mobile applications such as mobile commerce, mobile payments, mobile wallet, e-education, mobile health services, and on-the-go music and video. Integrated applications provide an impending source of revenues for operators where voice revenue growths are flat. Operators endeavor to setup a source of recurring revenues with innovative services deliverable through 3G-infrastructure. Integrated applications such as mobile TV provide opportunities for advertisements and potential revenues. Customer centric features of such applications include enhanced user control and personalization of content. Data revenues from mobile applications are expected to exceed revenues from voice service, which is typically considered as ‘cash cow’.
As high-end phones and smartphones have rapidly adopted HSDPA/WCDMA technology, the next growth opportunity for 3G lies in capturing 2.5G mobile users. Thus, the pricing of 3G devices is required to converge with 2.5G devices. As a case in point, GSM Association (GSMA) launched a campaign called ‘3G for all’ to enable 3G services accessible to every mobile phone user. The campaign advocates the development of a low cost handset capable of delivering broadband Internet, video calls and other high-end services offered by operators. Subsequently, vendors and operators collaborated to reduce the cost of handsets and drive the popularity of 3G services. Several manufacturers are active in delivering high-end handsets at lower costs. The resulting competitive market for handsets would expedite the growth of multimedia services and 3G. Similarly, GSMA launched the ‘Emerging Market Handset’ program to encourage the development of low cost handsets for first-time customers in developing economies.
As stated by the new market research report on 3G/3.5G, Asia-Pacific (including Japan) represents the largest regional market worldwide. Asia-Pacific is also one of the fastest growing regional markets for 3G/3.5G, with number of subscribers in the region waxing at a CAGR of about 33.6% over the analysis period. Growth in the Asia-Pacific market is primarily driven by growing adoption of 3G enabled handsets and increasing demand for high-bandwidth mobile multimedia services in the region, particularly in emerging markets such as China and India. WCDMA Pathway is the fastest growing segment by technology with number of subscribers waxing at a CAGR of about 30% over the analysis period.
Key players dominating the marketplace include, AT&T, China Mobile Limited, China Telecom Corporation Limited, China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited, KDDI Corp., NTT DoCoMo Inc, SK Telecom, T-Mobile International AG & Co. KG, and Vodafone Group Plc, among others. Manufacturers and Suppliers of Infrastructure/Terminal Devices covered in the report include Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., LG Electronics, Inc., Motorola, Inc, Nokia Siemens Networks, Samsung Electronics, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson, ZTE Corporation, among others.
The research report titled “3G/3.5G: A Global Strategic Business Report” announced by Global Industry Analysts, Inc., provides a comprehensive review of industry overview, technology overview, product/service launches, profiles of major players, and recent industry activity. The report provides market estimates and projections for global 3G/3.5G market in terms of number of 3G/3.5G subscribers (in millions) and number of 3G/3.5G enabled handsets sold (in million units) by technology segments CDMA Pathway, and WCDMA Pathway, across major geographic markets such as North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Rest of World.
